RenalCert is designed for dialysis education operations and may process school contact information, administrator and instructor account information, student records, course progress, clinical hour records, certificates, transcripts, billing records, support requests, device information, and usage data.

RenalCert uses information to provide and secure the platform, manage accounts, support school operations, process billing, deliver support, improve workflows, verify certificates and transcripts, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. Public verification pages are intended to disclose only limited credential verification information.

RenalCert applies administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate for a healthcare education platform, including authenticated access, role-based permissions, tenant isolation, audit-oriented records, and server-side controls. No system can guarantee absolute security, and schools should use strong account practices and appropriate internal policies.

RenalCert does not sell student personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, authentication, payments, email delivery, analytics, security, customer support, or similar platform operations. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction.

Schools are responsible for determining whether their use of RenalCert involves protected health information or other regulated information and for ensuring their own compliance with applicable privacy, education, healthcare, employment, and accreditation requirements.
