Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to RenalCert.io and related RenalCert services, including school workspaces, student and instructor management, course delivery, clinical hour tracking, assignments, gradebook, certificates, transcripts, reporting, communications, support, billing, AI-assisted education tools, imports and migrations, demo requests, public verification pages, and marketplace or career-network features.

Schools and authorized users may use RenalCert only for lawful education, certification, administrative, marketplace, recruiting, support, and school operations purposes. Schools are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of student records, user roles, course materials, clinical records, grades, certificates, transcripts, marketplace listings, career-profile participation, billing information, imports, and any other information submitted or authorized through the platform.

Schools control their own tenant data and are responsible for obtaining any required student, instructor, graduate, employer, patient, or partner notices, consents, permissions, and agreements. This includes determining whether FERPA, HIPAA, state education laws, healthcare privacy laws, accreditation standards, employment laws, consumer privacy laws, or other requirements apply to their use of RenalCert. RenalCert does not provide legal, medical, clinical, accreditation, employment, or compliance advice.

RenalCert may provide AI-assisted workflows for drafting course content, quizzes, study materials, translations, moderation, risk indicators, reports, and administrative summaries. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed, edited, and approved by qualified school personnel before use or publication. Users may not submit content to AI tools unless they have authority to do so and must avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

Public certificate and transcript verification pages are intended to display limited verification information. Marketplace, job, partner, vendor, continuing education, graduate profile, and career features may make user-submitted or organization-submitted information visible to other users or the public when the relevant visibility, opt-in, approval, or moderation controls are enabled. Users are responsible for ensuring they have rights to publish that information.

Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, bypass tenant isolation or role permissions, interfere with service operation, upload malware or unlawful content, scrape non-public data, impersonate others, use RenalCert to discriminate unlawfully, or violate third-party rights. RenalCert may suspend or restrict access for security risks, nonpayment, misuse, suspected fraud, legal risk, or violation of these terms.

RenalCert content, branding, interface designs, workflows, documentation, and platform materials are owned by RenalCert or its licensors. Schools and users retain responsibility for their submitted operational data and content, subject to the rights needed for RenalCert to host, secure, process, support, improve, and provide the services. Third-party services such as hosting, authentication, payments, email delivery, analytics, AI providers, and infrastructure providers may be used to operate the platform.
